way back in 1985 or 86 fender tried to get into the metal market and came up with a tone monster called the katana.... i owned one but of course got stupid and sold it... it was probably the crunchiest guitar i have ever seen at any time.... we used to laughingly call it capn crunch......... soooo, i had my buddy walter build me one from a pic i showed him.... he did an excellent job and now capn crunch is back and crunchier than ever... tons of sustain..........at the present time it has an ibanez neck on it but i have found a neck that looks identical to the original katana neck and i am prepping it to put on this baby........ i added a capn crunch decal and an invader pickup....... she is balls to the wall sound.....
